The EWC collects salary data from companies that employ engineers in order to publish a yearly report on the salaries paid to engineers throughout the engineering workforce. It is the largest salary survey conducted of the engineering profession, spanning all disciplines and industries throughout the United States.
Thank you for your interest in participating in this invaluable survey. All participants are entitled to a free copy of the salary survey analysis report published in our quarterly bulletin Engineers, as well as a 40 percent discount off the price of the full report.
Your company can participate in one of three ways. Click on any or all of the links below for easy instructions for each one of the methods you can use to complete our survey form.
1. Complete our paper form, which you can download from this site. You can download the form, complete it, and mail or fax it to us.
2. Download our spreadsheet form. If you employ a large number of engineers, you may want to use this matrix-style spreadsheet. Identify the number of engineers you employ within certain experience and salary brackets, and enter those numbers into cells.
3. Create a comma-separated text file that we can import into our database structure. This is the ideal format for individuals who are familiar with databases and who employ a large number of engineers. You will need to be able to match our 6 basic categories to the records in your database, and then create a comma-separated text file that you can email to us or mail to us on floppy disk.
